If you are not at all concerned with the slim form factor, we recommend going with the Mi LED TV 4X PRO since it is considerably less costly with almost the same features. On top of that, the 4X Pro comes with a 10-bit panel and HDR10 support which is superior when compared with the Mi TV 4 which comes with 8-bit HDR support.Other than the form factory, Dolby Audio (on Mi TV 4) and HDR, both the TVs come with similar specifications as shown above.ConclusionWhile we like the Mi LED TV 4X Pro over the Mi LED TV 4 PRO due to its low cost and comparable features, there are some issues that we hope Xiaomi will address in the future. We have mixed feelings with the PatchWall OS. Xiaomi still does not provide a proper standby mode. Moreover, it does not remember your last selected source (HDMI 1, 2, etc.).Since most of the connectivity ports are on the rear, accessing the I/O options becomes an issue especially when the TV is wall mounted. A dedicated mute button is also missing on the remote, and you will need to use the Google voice to mute the audio. Also, watching Netflix or Amazon Prime cannot be done directly. Either sideloading or using an Amazon Fire TV stick is the solution. Most of the users including ourselves are happy overall with this TV because of the immense value that it brings to the masses, especially in a country like India. We hope that the article helped choose the right product.
