Qualcomm has revealed its new Snapdragon Wear 4100 wearables platform equipped with next-gen smartwatches built on Google’s Wear OS and Android Open Source Platform (AOSP). This new generation includes Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Snapdragon Wear 4100+ models. As per Qualcomm, the new wearables platform offers up to 85% faster performance and up to 25% reduced power consumption compared to the Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform.

The Snapdragon Wear 4100 wearables platform contains four ARM Cortex-A53 cores based on a 12 nm manufacturing processor. The maximum clock speed of the processor is 1.7 GHz. Also, this platform comes with an Adreno 504 graphics processor, LPDDR3 memory support, and 4G LTE.
