Microsoft has finally started rolling out of Windows 10 Mobile to select Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Here are the list of Windows Phones, which are eligible for the upgrade:

Lumia 1520, Lumia 930, Lumia 640, Lumia 640XL, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 635 (1GB), Lumia 636 (1GB), Lumia 638 (1GB), Lumia 430, and Lumia 435
Other vendor phones: BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, and MCJ Madosma Q501.
As you can see, this list includes only a limited set of Windows Phone 8.1 devices. If you are running a Windows 10 Mobile Edition under the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program, you will not receive the update. Microsoft has blocked the update for phones which are running older hardware which have an impact on the customer experience. Only the devices that we have passed the Windows 10 user experience tests are getting this upgrade.
The upgrade process is manual and you need to install the “Upgrade Adviser App” from the store in order to install the update:
