How to Disable Chrome Notifications on Android

Just like Windows, Google Chrome can send annoying notifications to your mobile phones which can sometimes be redundant. This is because the equivalent App can already be installed on your phone. Facebook is a good example. In this post I am going to talk about How to Disable Chrome Notifications on Android.

Tab on the Chrome menu > Settings

How to Disable Chrome Notifications on Android

TAP on Site Settings > Notifications.

 

Choose permissions:

By default, you’ll receive an alert from Chrome when a site wants to show or push notifications to your phone.

Blocked: You won’t see any notifications from ALL websites.

Turn off notifications from some sites

How to Disable Chrome Notifications on Android

Open Chrome and go to the website you don’t want to receive notifications from. For example, in this case, you want to block notifications from Facebook.

  • In the upper left side of the address bar, touch the lock Lock.
  • From the the drop down menu for Notifications, choose Allow or Block.

If you don’t see the setting here, this website can’t send you notifications.
