How to Prevent “Only secure content is displayed” Message in IE

Sometimes, when you try to open certain webpages on the internet, you may prompted repeatedly a message that says “Only secure content is displayed”, which will require that you click on a button to “Show all content”. In this post, I am going to talk about how to prevent “only secure content is displayed’ in IE.

In order to prevent this message from appearing, follow any one of the following two methods to eliminate this message:
Method 1
  1. Add and ensure that the URL of the webpage is included in your Trusted sites list.
  2. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab.
  3. Highlight Trusted Sites and click on the Sites button.
  4. Enter the Webpage URL and click the Add button, then the Close button.
  5. With Trusted Sites selected, click on the Customer Level button, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and in the option titled “Display mixed content” choose the Enable option.
  6. Click OK, then OK again
Method 2
  1. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab.
  2. Highlight Internet and click on the Custom Level button.
  3. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section – in the option titled “Display Mixed Content” choose the Enable option (see below).
  4. Click OK, then OK again.
