The Thinkpad is a powerful brand and when you use that name on any laptop, you have some expectations out of it. Thinkpads are known for ruggedness and a metal frame to ensure that the laptop survives the most extreme conditions. However in case of the ThinkPad Edge E555, it is a different story. Plastic built quality and average specs does not make it a high performing laptop. But at this price, getting a laptop with Thinkpad branding is a big plus.
