In this article, we are going to list out our top tablets with Gyroscope for gaming and VR. If you are into gaming or VR on your tablet device, then these are the device we recommend you to pick.
Why do you need a Gyroscope?
In smartphones and tablets, Accelerometer and Gyroscope sensors are used to detect the directional orientation of the device. This helps in providing services such as live GPS, 3D VR videos, etc. However, the accelerometer is used to track the directional movement of the device, while gyroscope detects tilts and orientation. Which means, if the device has an only accelerometer, you will be partially able to use navigation, but your device won’t support VR videos, 360 videos, etc. For such functionalities, a gyroscope sensor must be present in the tablets.

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5:
Check on Amazon Check on Newegg
The Galaxy Tab S4 is arguably the best Android tablet currently available on the market today. It also comes with Samsung’s own DeX platform where you can transform your tablet to a PC. The Super AMOLED Display is crisp and clear like you would expect. Even though it comes with a 10.5″ OLED display, the 112% DCI-P3 coverage like the Galaxy S9 is simply insane.
The large battery and storage make this tablet a joy to use. The Adaptive display with 80% RGB is excellent, and the color accuracy is just about perfect. What we don’t like is the older SD830, 4 GB of RAM and the lack of a fingerprint scanner. Take your pick!

4. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4:
The Mi Pad 4 is currently not available in all the markets internationally. Currently, it is available in selective South East Asian markets. However, international sellers would gladly ship it to your doorstep in case you want one. It comes with a 2K display and a Snapdragon 660 which is not slow in any way. The screen is LCD, and the cameras are for basic usage like video chatting, but not for any serious photography.
Overall, for the price, we highly recommend this to anyone who wants a mid-tier device with decent specs for daily usage.

5. Huawei MediaPad M5 10 (Pro):
Check on Amazon Check on Newegg
This is a great looking tablet from Huawei and comes with all the latest specs that you would expect in 2018. We especially like the thin bezels and the long battery life. We did not find any issues during gaming or regular website browsing. However, this device uses the same antenna for Bluetooth and WiFi, and users might experience disconnections due to this.
However, this is a premium Android tablet and is mostly on the pricier side. If looks could kill, this is it!

6. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7:
Check on Amazon Check on Newegg
The Tab S3 is the predecessor to the S4 tablet that is currently out. Even though it was released in 2017, it still has a lot of power under the hood. It comes with a Pen and is great for students who use their tablets to take notes.
The display is crisp and comes with an AMOLED display. The battery life is decent and supports Samsung’s adaptive charging. There is a micro-sd slot for memory expansion, and the Pen does not require additional charging or pairing which is excellent.
The full glass back may not be something that everyone likes, and for the price, 32 GB of built-in memory is too less. Overall, this tablet has aged well, and you can check out its specifications below:

9. Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M:
The Zenpad 3S 10 is a great value tablet with impressive build quality for the price. We actively use this tablet since 2017, and till today it runs smoothly without a hitch. The Hexa-core MediaTek processor is not a well-known SOC but supports two faster Cortex A72 Cores. The Zen UI is fast and fluid, even though it comes with a lot of preinstalled apps which you will never use. Check out its CPU details via. CPUz.

11. HTC Nexus 9:
The is probably the last Nexus tablet originally built by HTC and was great at what it did. It is still available from multiple online sellers on popular marketplaces. Since Google has moved to its Pixel branding, we never saw a better tablet with Google branding as much as the Nexus 9. It comes with all the necessary sensors to support all popular games baring a few latest ones like PubG.
